Last night the power went out with a large bang. A eucalyptus tree fell across the power lines at the school right across the street from us. The fire brigade and other emergency vehicles were out. We were out of power for about 2.5 hours. Of course it happened right at bed time. We pretended we were camping and used many flashlights.
Nathaniel loves his gum boots, or "rubbers" as they call them in SK. He is in them every chance he has and obviously he loves posing.

Now I am pretty sure that when we first arrived here in January that he kept hitting his head on this contraption. Notice that now he is quite a bit taller then it.

Yep, told you he was tired of his high chair. So here Nathaniel sits on a covered phone book and he feels pretty important.
