An Australian Bilby story time at the Botanic Gardens.

After the story about an Easter bilby, we went for a guided walk through the gardens to where the craft was set up.  They made bilby masks.

 A Sebastian bilby.
Even in fall there is still some colour left in the gardens.

A display greenhouse with venus fly traps (and various other carnivorous plants) and orchids.  The display was called Sex and Death.  Apparently orchids are eternal, if kept in the proper conditions.  And they were around when the dinosaurs were.

This was made out of felt so you could put on the leaves and the animals.
Like their cousin Sophia, these boys like to drive albeit on the right.

This is the greatest thing since sliced bread. OK well maybe not, but what a great idea.  You end up not wasting spinach and just taking out what you need.
