Today was Michael's choice. He took the day off work and we went to the Royal Australian Mint for the morning. We had presents at lunch time and birthday cake after dinner. Plus a quick trip to the playground for the chocolate cake crazies!
Look for the bird to the right of the flag poles. It is a sulfur crested cockatoo.
The Scrivener Dam. We've had heavy rains for two days so we weren't surprised to see it open.
It was completed in 1963 across the Molonglo River to create Lake Burley Griffin.
Birthday present time. Michael received a book called Botany Bay: The Real Story. By Alan Frost
Cake time! Chocolate Mud Cake.
All blowing out the candles.
Licking the candles.
Nathaniel just can't wait, he is licking the porcelain of the plate in anticipation.
35 and still looking pretty good to this lady.
