Canberra festival, a Rugby match and a walk around the gardens.

At 6am the pilots of the hot air balloons start blowing them up.  We arrived at 7:30am and had missed many balloons.  They were already landing and packing up (and they land where ever the wind takes them).  But we still had a good time going into a basket, a balloon and having a pancake breakfast while listening to Andy and the Armadillos.

The Royal Australian Air Force blew up their balloon to allow the kids to enter for photos.

Michael went to a Rugby match during the afternoon while the boys napped.
Canberra Raiders vs. Cronulla Sharks.  Canberra won the match 40-12.

We went to the Botanic gardens after an early dinner for a quick walk.

A galah with an interesting home.

The trees are changing.  It isn't quite as green as it was, fall is upon us.  You can see the tip of the Telestra tower in behind the trees.
