Today is our last day in this wonderful paradise. It is with a heavy heart that we have to leave tomorrow.
We went snorkelling this morning around the Black Rock in Ka'anapali.
There we were fortunate enough to see a honu (green sea turtle).
In the afternoon we went on the sugar cane train. For me it was somewhat disappointing since they have since taken out the sugar plantation along the tracks and built homes instead. The boys love trains so they still enjoyed it not knowing the difference.
We finished our last night in Lahaina with some shaved ice (think snoopy sno-cone), dinner and a sunset.
The boys and I went out swimming while Michael was snorkeling.
A honu! I am so glad Sebastian was able to see him.
This is the black rock.
Sandy babes.
Nathaniel has decided it is very funny to pick his nose in public. Probably because of the reaction his brother gives him.
At the end of the line the train does his turn around and shoots out steam to clean his boilers. We were soaked!
We filled up with water, 600 gallons of it.
This sign cracked us up.
Shaved ice at the Banyan tree square.
We went to 'Cheeseburger in Paradise' where I remember going with my parents many years back.
Our first and last sunset...
...and it's down, just like that.
We are all sad to leave and finish off this chapter.
