Celebrations and heading home to SK.

We returned from camping to celebrate both Father's Day with Grandpa Casey and Nathaniel's birthday.

This bloody gorilla some how made it to my house and not cousin Sophia's.

Whose birthday is it soon?  "I do" was his answer.

Some sly dog looks going on here. How cute.

Eric Carle's changing chameleon book and stuffy.
Both my boys love stuffed animals, this one is now a bedtime lizard.

Finally heading home...

Camping with the Burns in Ferndale, WA.

My parent's have a camping membership and this is one of their sites.  It was quite pleasant in Ferndale and really close to Birch Bay.
 Smores!

Thank goodness my parent's trailer has a shower/bathtub.  We are mighty sticky.
Even though they had a trailer the kids and I stayed in the tent.  Michael joined us the second night.

June 7-10th.

Here are some pictures from a couple of days before we headed south to camp.
Nathaniel was helping Grandpa Casey make dinner.  He is tossing the salad.

 Snack in a box.

Bob the Builder, can he fix it?
 Yes he can!

Barnet Beach with Grandma Audrey.

We went for a very quick walk down the beach.  Sebastian was freezing as he was not feeling well so we didn't stay too long.  Both boys love the beach and digging for crabs.

Putt-putt train and swim meet.

Sebastian was feeling sick today so he spent an easy day with the Daddy and his grandparents.  They went to "putt-putt" train and Burnaby Lake.  Nathaniel spent the day with Mommy.  We went to the Haney Neptunes swim meet in Maple Ridge (where I used to swim). We met Alicia and Keanan there as he is a Langley Flippers competitive swimmer now.  It was quite a trip down memory lane as Alicia and I used to race all summer.  This is how we became best friends and still are today.

Breast stroker, or at least trying :-)

This is an old friend from swim club.  We were team mates and now her kids are swimming.
